Job summary

MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, WI, seeks a Machine Operator to build surface maintenance equipment per blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities include setting up and operating presses and related machinery, assembling parts, reading blueprints, inspecting and testing parts for quality, and using overhead crane and forklift as needed.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and process sheets.
• Follow established work instructions and sequence of operations.
• Use hand and power tools and inspection equipment; crate, pack and move finished goods.
• Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required.
• Enter information into production records and logs in the computer system.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications.
• Maintain strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines such as press, stamping, spot welding, cutting and trimming.
• Assemble component parts using designated machinery and processes according to specifications, schedules and quality standards.
• Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and attach hardware and seals.
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Test completed parts per quality standards.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or other fasteners.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift.
