Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Assembly I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. The role requires preparing the work area, ensuring correct components, and maintaining safety and quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, performing inspections, and keeping production records. The position offers an hourly pay range with bonuses dependent on performance and company incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area and prep for production.
• Assemble parts per instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Stack and store finished components per procedures; label as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and ensure equipment safety.
• Complete pre-shift startup inspection and report issues.
• Maintain production records and verify material conformance.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and participate in related programs.
