Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS is seeking an Assembler to build metal components at a bench or on the shop floor. This hands-on role requires following blueprints, securing parts with fasteners, and maintaining production readiness.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a relevant certificate, and basic tool/math skills. Training is provided; overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Up to 1 year of related industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and safety manuals.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal products at a bench or on the shop floor.
• Position parts according to blueprints and secure with fasteners.
• Audit production parts to maintain stock for production needs.
• Operate hand and power tools to support assembly.
• May work at different stations as needed.
• Overhead hoist and forklift operations.
• Occasional overtime, weekends as scheduled.
