Job summary

Randstad USA in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an assembler to timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies for Power Distribution Units and transformers. The role involves wiring, sheetmetal work, and operating ovens and VPI tanks as part of the assembly process.

You will follow SOPs, perform visual inspections, and use fixtures, gauges, and various tools while adhering to 5S+ housekeeping and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Follow SOPs to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Perform visual inspections before and after assembly.
• Adhere to safety rules and 5S+ housekeeping principles.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble and adjust products.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to build sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Use cranes to pick up and move transformers and materials.
• Inspect materials and finished assemblies to ensure quality.
• Perform wiring, sheetmetal work and transformer components assembly.
• Operate oven and VPI tanks as part of the assembly process.
• Maintain tool calibration and keep work area organized per 5S+.
