Qualifications

• Previous experience in a highly technical environment.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly.
• Forklift experience.
• Exposure to a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Basic blueprint reading and torque values knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and coordinate with other departments.
• Aptitude to take orders and execute quickly.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathers parts and tools.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by reading measurements.
• Assembles components and checks connections for correct fit and torque.
• Measures completed components to verify specifications.
• Resolves assembly problems and communicates needs to supervisor.
• Maintains equipment by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Keeps the work area clean and follows safety procedures.
• Manages supplies by checking stock and placing orders as needed.
• Documents production and quality data.
• Contributes to team goals and safety compliance.
