Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking an Assembler/Production Supporter for the first shift. You will assemble components from instructions and blueprints, prepare materials, and ensure correct fit and function throughout the shift.

You will measure, troubleshoot, and adjust parts to meet specifications while maintaining safety and housekeeping. The role involves light electrical/heavy equipment assembly and forklift operations; Lean manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments.
• Aptitude to take orders and execute efficiently.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good finger and hand dexterity.
• Basic knowledge in blueprint reading and torque values.
• Experience in a highly technical environment.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly.
• Forklift experience.
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or measuring.
• Assemble components and verify fit and connections.
• Measure completed components to verify specifications.
• Troubleshoot and adjust dimensions to meet specs; notify supervisor for resources.
• Keep equipment running via preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Document production and quality actions.
• Support team and adhere to safety standards.
