• Proactively attain a clean, safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Retrieve and study assembly instructions, detailed part prints, assembly layouts and parts lists.
• Gather parts/units, tools and/or material from inventory using a supplied material list.
• Prepare parts prior to assembly. This includes small sized unit assembly work.

Requirements

• Fives Giddings & Lewis is seeking a Precision Assembler to build, fit, align, and verify high-precision machine tool components and assemblies. This role works from engineering drawings and assembly instructions to ensure machines meet quality and customer specifications.
