Qualifications

• 1+ year of paving or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a finish roller to achieve proper compaction and surface texture.
• Coordinate with QA field technician and foreman to maintain mat quality.
• Monitor asphalt temperature and compaction to prevent defects.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment daily.
• Communicate effectively with foremen and crew to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with jobsite setup, layout, traffic control, and material staging.
• Coach and train others in equipment use and best practices.
• Perform safety checks, use PPE, and report hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
