Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with air carbon arc torch or welding equipment.
• Three to six months experience in other cleaning operations and demonstrated ability to perform precision tasks without damaging parts.
• Ability to read and interpret Technique Cards, routers and other special instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Remove gating from castings using air carbon arc torch to achieve tight tolerances.
• Maintain burnoff equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Train and assess new burnoff operators; document performance and provide feedback.
• Follow safety rules and complete logs; operate tools safely.
• Meet production and quality standards and support continuous improvement.
