Responsibilities

• Maintain and service anesthesia equipment daily.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, air shields, monitors; manage vaporizers and gas tanks.
• Prepare procedure trays (CVP, arterial line, Swan-Ganz).
• Report equipment inoperable and liaise with vendors for maintenance.
• Restock workroom and maintain clean, organized spaces.
• Assist with patient positioning, ventilatory support, and post-op transport.
• Maintain anesthesia logbooks and records; track preventative maintenance.
