Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Herkimer, NY area. You will align tires and wheels using state-of-the-art equipment, perform inspections, oil changes, and tire repairs, and contribute to overall vehicle safety and wear reduction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education.
• Preferred state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Use latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true after alignment.
• Complete state inspections, oil/filter changes, flat repairs and other required automotive services.
