Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at our Latham, NY service center. You will use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear.

Duties include inspections, oil changes, flat repairs and routine services. We offer competitive weekly pay with incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation and holidays,

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.

Education

State vehicle inspection license (preferred)
