Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Niles, IL area. Technicians use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include inspections, oil/filter changes, flat repairs, and other required services. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered by a large national tire and automotive service

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment, adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure straight travel.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs as needed.
• Perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs for customers.
