Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our Newton, NJ area. The technician will align tires and wheels, measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and help ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

Responsibilities include completing state inspections, oil/filters changes, flat repairs, and other repairs as needed. Candidates should be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., with about 1 year of tire-related experience;

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true after alignment.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Perform other required automotive services or repairs for customers.
