Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Mahwah, NJ is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales center. Technicians use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure even tire wear and straight travel.

The role includes completing state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other vehicle services as needed.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age; you must be legally authorized to work in the United States; and you must possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A state inspection license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align newly-mounted tires and wheels using the latest equipment; measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure even wear and straight travel.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs; perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
