Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in the Mahwah, NJ area. You will align tires and wheels, measure caster/camber/toe/thrust and perform inspections and basic repairs as part of a busy service center.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of related experience or training, be legally eligible to work in the United States, and may have a state inspection license preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States (18+ years)
• 1 year of tire/vehicle service experience or related training
• Preferred: state inspection license
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl and lift heavy items as part of the job

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
• Perform vehicle inspections, oil and filter changes and basic repairs as required
• Balance tires and rotate as needed
• Ensure quality of service and customer satisfaction

Skills

1 year experience

Work authorization in the US

State inspection license (preferred)

Lifting heavy items (over 50 lbs)
