Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at our Staten Island, NY area center. Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align tires and wheels, measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and help reduce tire wear.

This role also supports state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other required automotive services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Preferred: state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment to ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform state inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Provide other required automotive services or repairs.
