Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for our center near the Staten Island, NY area. You will use advanced equipment to align tires and wheels, adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and perform inspections, oil changes and flat repairs as part of routine vehicle service.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of related experience or training; 18+ years old; and legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure alignment.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs and other required automotive service.
• Work in a fast-paced center and provide reliable vehicle maintenance and customer service.
