Job summary

Central Valley Ag Cooperative in Marquette, NE is seeking a Full-Time Applicator to apply fertilizer, lime, and crop protection products using approved equipment. You will support loading, mixing, and transporting products while maintaining safety and accurate records.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, Class A CDL with tanker/HazMat endorsements or ability to obtain, and a Commercial Applicator’s License.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements required or obtainable.
• Commercial Applicator’s License required or obtainable.
• DOT knowledge/experience preferred.
• Able to communicate professionally and build relationships with customers and operations.
• Strong mechanical skills and safety focus.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage resources to meet deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Load, handle, and apply dry and liquid fertilizer, lime, and crop protection products.
• Operate designated application equipment safely and accurately.
• Ensure correct products and rates are applied to the correct fields and billed accordingly.
• Assist with mixing, loading, unloading, and transport of products.
• Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain safety compliance and proper PPE usage at all times.
• Recordkeeping and paperwork related to applications.
• Collaborate with supervisor and coworkers to minimize errors.
• Support scouting, product transportation, and producer services.
