Job summary

Florida Crystals Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Data Clerk to support the Precision Agriculture Department at the Sugar Farms Atlantic Shop in Belle Glade, Florida. The role focuses on accurate data entry, data maintenance, and supporting dashboards and reports.

You will maintain records, verify data quality, and coordinate with farm operations and other departments to meet reporting deadlines. Proficiency in Excel and confidentiality are essential, with bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Data Entry and Record Maintenance: Enter, update, and maintain operational, equipment, field, and precision agriculture data in approved spreadsheets, databases, websites, and departmental systems.
• Data Quality Control: Review records for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and duplicate or missing information; identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections with the appropriate team member.
• File and Document Management: Organize electronic and paper records using established naming, filing, retention, and version-control practices so information can be located and retrieved efficiently.
• Operational Data Support: Collect and consolidate information from field personnel, equipment systems, telemetry platforms, research trials, and other approved sources for departmental use.
• Reporting Support: Prepare routine summaries, data tables, logs, and status reports using Microsoft Excel and other standard desktop applications; support recurring precision agriculture dashboards and management reports.
• System and Website Support: Assist with uploading, downloading, formatting, and maintaining approved data in Precision Agriculture applications and web portals, including digital inventories and operational records.
• Communication and Coordination: Work closely with Precision Agriculture staff, farm operations, supervisors, managers, and other departments to obtain missing information, clarify records, and meet reporting deadlines.
