Job summary

The Equity Marshall agronomy team seeks a dedicated Agronomy Applicator to operate custom application equipment for precise fertilizer and chemical application, conduct field scouting, soil sampling and field mapping, and assist with fleet maintenance as needed.

Based at 16990 N 2nd St, Marshall, IL, you will report to the Location Manager and collaborate with producers and team members while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. Salary is hourly and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a Class A
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate well with team and producers
• Must maintain a good driving record and regulatory compliance
• Obtain a commercial pesticide license within a reasonable timeframe

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Apply fertilizer and ag chemicals accurately with custom equipment
• Maintain and clean equipment; comply with state and federal regulations
• Blending, loading, delivering, and unloading fertilizer and ag chemicals
• Attend continuing education to maintain product and regulatory knowledge
• Assist with fleet maintenance during off-season as directed
• Scout fields, take soil samples, and create field maps
• Communicate professionally with producers, sales staff, and location manager
