Job summary

Helpmates is hiring an Aerospace Assembly Technician for Huntington Beach. This role performs final assembly on aircraft interior components following precise engineering drawings.

If you have hands-on experience with power tools, blueprints, and mechanical fasteners, apply today! The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of aerospace assembly experience, can read drawings, and is able to work Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in aerospace or high-precision assembly.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for final assembly.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and installation procedures.
• Position, fit, and attach structural components using rivets, screws, inserts, blind nuts, blocks, angles, and fittings.
• Perform precision drilling, countersinking, and riveting on metal parts per specs.
• Safely apply industrial adhesives and sealants per guidelines.
• Maintain work orders and traceability books; report defects to Quality Control.
• Safely operate hand and machine tools and keep the work area clean.
