Job summary

Divergent is seeking an Integrated Assembly Technician to join our Production Department in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on assembling, fitting, and finalizing complex additively manufactured metal components for aerospace, defense, and automotive structures, with emphasis on precision and quality.

You will read engineering drawings, verify fits, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure world-class quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and precision fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of lubricants, sealants, and assembly processes in aerospace/defense contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural and mechanical components following drawings and work instructions.
• Align, fit and secure parts using fasteners, adhesives, or joining techniques for additively manufactured assemblies.
• Perform dry fits and verification checks prior to final installation.
• Inspect sub-assemblies and final assemblies for dimensional accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain documentation of measurements, inspection data, and process steps.
• Operate and calibrate hand tools, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments.
