Job summary

Divergent is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to support maintenance and continuous improvement of our advanced manufacturing facility in Long Beach, with occasional work at Torrance HQ. The role emphasizes reliability, safety, and performance of critical building systems in a highly automated production environment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, problem-solving oriented, and able to collaborate with Production, Engineering, EH&S, and contractors to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education preferred.
• 3+ years of facilities maintenance in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and utilities.
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to prevent downtime.
• Coordinate installations, commissioning, and modifications for new production lines.
