Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label and verify medications, and keep a compliant, organized workspace. You will support the pharmacist and ensure timely fulfillment of orders in a patient‑focused setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and pharmacy technician licensure; prior long-term care exposure is preferred. This role typically operates on-site with varied shifts and potential overtime.

• Knowledge of brand name vs generic medications.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick medications from shelves and storage areas.
• Perform accuracy checks before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under supervision.
• Process returned drugs and recycle per procedure.
• Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered meds and label as needed.
• Pack materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and restock supplies.
