Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking a materials operator to ensure extrusion lines receive the correct supplies. You will follow LOTO rules, prepare daily mix logs, and maintain ISO/GMP/HACCP paperwork while labeling materials and ensuring proper safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English to read and interpret safety rules and work instructions. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities at TekniPlex.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; basic math and measuring skills.
• Must be self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; able to read safety rules, work orders, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials.
• Operate color feeders; trained to use Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Follow Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) rules and regulations.
• Prepare accurate daily mix logs and maintain ISO/GMP/HACCP paperwork.
• Produce accurate labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons; assign lot numbers per ISO.
• Perform routine material handling duties and ensure materials are protected.
