Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of brake press operations experience
• Math proficiency: adding, subtracting, decimals, and fractions
• Measurement skills: tape measure, protractor, height gauge, caliper
• Mechanical aptitude
• Reading forming blueprints
• Ability to read work instructions, work orders, or customer specs

Responsibilities

• Operates brake press machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
• Produces simple to medium level parts.
• Coordinates with team on transporting finished parts.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and work orders for settings.
• Inspects parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges for quality control.
• Performs rework tasks as needed.
• Maintains safe workspace and uses PPE per procedures.
• Leads and collaborates with supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Performs routine maintenance and reports malfunctions.
• Follows safety, QA guidelines, and company policies.
• Logs job information into ERP system accurately.
• Fills out required operations and quality paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned to support operations.
