Job summary

Nitterhouse Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to uphold strict pre-pour quality standards in a fast-paced precast operation. You will verify formwork, reinforcement placement, and tooling readiness to prevent defects before casting.

The role requires basic math, ability to read shop drawings, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided; overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing things right the first time.
• Ability to read or learn to read shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed pre-pour inspections of forms and assemblies to ensure proper build and alignment.
• Conduct routine fresh concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight) and post-pour inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate quality control and casting records using basic Excel and Word; keep testing area clean and organized.
