Job summary

Vesuvius North America in Illinois is seeking a manufacturing helper to perform essential production tasks. Responsibilities include creating batches, loading, packing, and moving production in a safe, efficient manner. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable with manual labor, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

DescriptionThe primary responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to manufacturing quality product, creating batches, loading, packing and loading and unloading production in a safe manner and other general duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, hard-working, dependable, with a get the job done attitude, team player and enjoys working with their hands. Ability to perform manual labor, standing, squatting, and walking, lift up to 50lbs. and with a certain amount of manual dexterity (the ability to pick up, handle, and manipulate) parts and materials quickly and accurately. Have experience in operating air tools. At least 2 years of working in manufacturing and/or construction preferred. Good math skills. Basic metrology knowledge.
