Qualifications

• A.S. degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 0–5 years design experience in precast concrete design for transportation infrastructure and underground structures.
• Familiarity with ACI 318, ACI 350, ASCE-7, and AASHTO.
• Experience in AutoCAD.
• Collaborative mindset with project teams and attention to QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned precast drafting and design tasks for transportation infrastructure and underground structures.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop structurally sound, cost‑effective precast designs.
• Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications aligned with industry design standards.
• Support material cost estimation and assist Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize QA/QC processes and gain knowledge of precast and prestressed concrete technologies and codes.
