Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Technical Resource Engineer to promote engineered precast concrete products and support civil engineering clients, state DOTs, and municipalities. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships, presenting solutions, and collaborating with sales and operations to grow market share.

You will manage industry liaison, contribute to specifications improvement for storm drain infrastructure, and organize Lunch & Learn events and plant tours across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and listening skills; problem solving.
• Able to travel 35% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering clients and state DOTs.
• Promote engineered precast concrete products to engineers and end users.
• Collaborate with DOTs and municipalities to improve specifications.
• Manage relationships with industry organizations.
• Build customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Present to key engineering entities and trade associations.
• Serve as liaison between engineers and sales/operations.
• Develop market and educate on material specification processes.
• Introduce new products to the market.
• Organize Lunch & Learn and plant tour opportunities.
• Attend trade shows in the designated territory.
