Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) invites applications for a supervisory role overseeing daily production in a precast concrete facility. You will coordinate labor, materials, and schedules to meet deadlines while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in operations.

You will lead teams, monitor performance, and collaborate with maintenance and QA to address issues. Strong communication and leadership are essential for driving continuous improvement and meeting plant objectives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory or lead experience in a concrete manufacturing environment.
• ACI Level I Field Testing Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete manufacturing processes, equipment, quality systems, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and employees in a precast concrete manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and production schedules to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Monitor workflow and production performance, making adjustments to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Oversee safe operation of plant equipment and facilities, coordinating with maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while providing ongoing performance feedback.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations as needed.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve production issues and achieve plant objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records related to production, attendance, safety, and performance.
