Job summary

CRH’s Oldcastle Infrastructure facility in Illinois is seeking a manufacturing team member to safely produce precast concrete products in a union environment. You will contribute to quality and efficiency on the shop floor while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 40 lbs., forklift operation, and effective team communication. A high school diploma or equivalent and manufacturing/construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Strip and clean concrete forms and products.
• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete.
• Perform basic carpentry skills.
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
