Job summary

Atlantic American Precast, a division of The H&K Group, Inc., seeks motivated Precast Laborers to design and build forms, pour concrete, and finish surfaces with trowels, stains, waterproofing, and sealants. This onsite role requires safety adherence and the ability to meet job specifications for quality finishes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, reading production plans, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work nights or weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Able to read and understand general production plans
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of how to use hand and power tools
• Able to work night and weekend shifts when required
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Responsibilities

• Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Designing and building forms
• Setting up the forms
• Pouring concrete
• Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete
• Spreading and smoothing concrete
• Molding expansion joints and edges
• Using stains or colors to add the finishing touch
• Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work
• Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish
• Other duties as assigned
