We are seeking a dedicated PreAdmission Screening Nurse to join our team at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs. In this role, you will:

1. Prepare patients for surgical procedures
2. Administer medications as directed by physicians
3. Develop and implement nursing care plans for surgical patients
4. Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients

Qualifications:

• Unencumbered license to practice in Arkansas
• At least 6 months of acute care experience (new graduates or nurses without acute care experience may be hired through our residency program)
• Previous outpatient/pre-op experience is preferred but not required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Overview:

As a Preadmission Nurse at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, you will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring a smooth preoperative process. Our leadership is accessible, and the hospital is expanding its services.

Your daily responsibilities include reviewing consent forms, answering patient questions, conducting preoperative assessments, and preparing patients for surgery.
