Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Preadmission Testing Registered Nurse to serve as the final checkpoint before surgery across nine Surgical Services specialty areas. You will perform preoperative phone assessments to verify records, obtain clearances, and review instructions.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in the state(s) of practice; multi-state compact may apply.
• BSN preferred for advancement and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional governance and quality initiatives.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed; collaborate with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation; ensure patient safety and ethical care.
