Job summary

Mercy in Illinois is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in a clinic setting. The position uses the nursing process and requires coordination with multiple departments to ensure high-quality care while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

Shifts rotate 0700-1530 or 0730-1600 in a non-hybrid clinic. Applicants must be an accredited RN graduate with an active license and BLS; additional certifications may be required per unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification; additional unit certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
