Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Administrator, PREA to act as the facility’s subject matter expert on PREA compliance and accreditation issues. You will oversee and coordinate compliance with PREA standards and report improvements to the Facility Administrator and Corporate PREA Coordinators.

You will train staff on PREA, prepare reports, and help develop policies to ensure ongoing audit readiness. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.

Responsibilities

• The Compliance Administrator, PREA serves as the facility’s primary liaison and point person on PREA and coordinates facility’s compliance efforts and reporting requirements to comply with the Act.
• The Compliance Administrator, PREA attends PREA training workshops, responds to inquiries, and coordinates and conducts training for facility staff on PREA as needed.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed.
• Writes, updates, trains, and oversees the implementation of Corporate and facility PREA policies and procedures to ensure compliance with PREA standards and audit requirements.
• Compiles facility statistics and reports on incidents of Sexual Activity and Sexual Abuse.
• Assists with PREA Facility assessments.
• Prepares annual report on findings and corrective actions for the Facility.
• Monitors individuals who report abuse for retaliation per PREA policy.
• Serves as liaison with the DHS PSA and Corporate PREA Coordinators as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
