Job summary

Jobtailor in Minnesota is seeking a detail-oriented materials handler to support production operations in Faribault. You will weigh, batch, and prepare ingredients, manage material flow, and operate a forklift to move pallets and supplies on the line.

This role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to safety, and the ability to follow written procedures. Experience with inventory systems and labeling is a plus; lifting up to 50 pounds is required. On-site role with standard shifts, training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Pre-weighing, batching, and preparing ingredients to be used for individual batches
• Material handling of all material used at the facility
• Weigh, measure, mix, and add material, ingredients and products to ensure conformance to established standards
• Operate forklift and/or other power industrial trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Reconciliation- weigh ingredients, count, tape boxes, sow bags, identify ingredients with labels and partial labels
• Clean and maintain equipment, using hand tools
• Adhere and comply with all safety policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic math, reading and record keeping skills requiredAbility to maneuver minimum 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums with proper material handling equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Valid drivers license for forklift license
• Familiarity with inventory systems and bar coding preferred
• Ability to follow written and flow-charted instructions
