Apple’s Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning team provides the compute and graphics software foundation across all of our innovative products including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Vision Pro, and Apple Watch. The Pre-silicon Compute Frameworks team is responsible for API design and development across Metal and Metal compute frameworks and for functional support and performance analysis of upcoming hardware features in future Apple Silicon GPUs.We are looking for an engineering manager with a strong technical background who is excited to lead engineers and collaborate with other leaders to ensure a strong software and hardware roadmap for our products.
As the manager of the Pre-silicon Compute Frameworks team, you will support, lead, and grow a team of engineers through API development and performance analysis across Metal and Metal compute frameworks for future Apple Silicon GPUs. You will partner with other leaders across Apple software and hardware organizations to propose, develop, and evaluate hardware features for new silicon generations from emulation through silicon.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $206,200 and $356,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
