Job summary

Soccer Shots DuPage County is seeking enthusiastic part-time preschool soccer coaches to join our team this fall. You’ll introduce children ages 2-8 to soccer through engaging sessions that build confidence, character, and a love for physical activity.

Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist within a positive team culture. Responsibilities include arriving on time, managing groups of 5–10 children, and communicating professionally with families and school staff while delivering

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to DuPage County locations.
• Daily access to a smartphone and internet.
• Pass background check, fingerprinting and medical screening per DCFS.
• Weekday afternoons availability (2:30 PM–6:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Lead sessions and manage groups of 5–10 children.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and Soccer Shots leadership.
• Arrive on time and be prepared for every session.
• Create a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Soccer Shots is an award‑winning children's soccer program that serves preschools, childcare centers, parks, and community locations throughout DuPage County. Our curriculum is designed by early childhood education specialists and soccer professionals to create a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experience for every child.

• Arrive on time and prepared for every session

• Friendly, approachable, and dependable
• Represents Soccer Shots positively at all locations
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude

Experienced with Children

• Experience working with young children is strongly preferred
• Teaching, coaching, childcare, camp counseling, or education experience is a plus
• Soccer experience is helpful but not required

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
