Job summary

Beanstalk Academy in The Bronx, New York is seeking a dedicated Pre School Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing early education experience for our young learners. You will structure developmentally appropriate instruction, partner with families, and support IFSP/IEP goals wherever applicable, while maintaining a warm, collaborative classroom environment.

A BA in Early Childhood Education (or related field) with a Study Plan eligibility is required, and the role offers growth opportunities

• BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field with Study Plan Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Structuring a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
• Planning and leading classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
• Actively engaging with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child's program
• Implementing a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
• Creating a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
• Supporting implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
