Job summary

Camlin is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer – High Voltage Solutions in Atlanta, GA to bridge technical offerings with customer needs. You will lead technical demonstrations, craft tailored grid solutions, and support sales through complex proposals and engagements.

The role requires strong communication, deep knowledge of high voltage systems, and experience in pre-sales across utility-grade hardware and software. Travel to customer sites and events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, grid monitoring, or power transmission.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or applications engineering.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused messaging.
• Proven track record of supporting sales in closing technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for pre-sales across Camlin’s high voltage hardware and software solutions.
• Partner with Sales Executives to develop account strategies and support deal execution.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Lead or support customer workshops, requirements gathering, and scope reviews.
• Translate customer challenges into tailored technical solutions and system designs.
• Develop and support technical proposals, architectures, and documentation.
• Own and contribute to RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses, including technical conformance.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to feedback market needs.
