Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions is seeking a Pre-Sales Broker Implementation Specialist for its Individual Sales Team. The role provides broker support through the full pre-sales cycle, onboarding, training, and issue resolution to ensure compliant, broker-ready contracts and efficient operations.

You will manage broker inquiries, develop onboarding materials, drive broker engagement, and collaborate with sales, product, and marketing to enable first sales and long-term growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or applicable work experience required.
  • Life & health insurance license preferred; if not active, will need to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong Pre-Sales Product Support, Client Services and Escalation Management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and be skilled in documentation & enablement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Edge).
  • Internet speed of at least 75 Mbps required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee intake, review, processing, and maintenance of new broker/contracts in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contract research and inquiries.
  • Develop broker reporting including key metrics like days to first sale and broker contribution to the book of business.
  • Create onboarding training materials and deliver training sessions.
  • Manage pre-sales broker email and phone inquiry queue with prompt responses.
  • Proactively engage newly registered brokers to welcome them and support first sales.
  • Reach out to dormant brokers to reignite engagement and support sales goals.
  • Suggest and implement procedural improvements and system enhancements to optimize broker operations.
  • Assist in integrating new tools and systems and provide training and troubleshooting.
  • Promote service standards and growth of the assigned book of business.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, MGAs, Blue plans, and brokers.
  • Ensure operational compliance and industry regulations adherence and best practices.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing to enhance broker success.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

We are looking to add a Broker Support Specialist to our Individual Sales Team!

The Pre-Sales Broker Implementation Specialist serves as a trusted primary point of contact for brokers, supporting the full pre-sales cycle through implementation journey, including product education, onboarding, issue resolution, and sales enablement. This role ensures brokers have the tools, systems, resources, and guidance needed to deliver exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving the processes and systems that enable registered brokers to operate effectively and drive sales, the Specialist partners closely with internal teams to translate contracting processes into clear, broker - ready solutions. Through proactive outreach to new and dormant brokers via email and one-on-one consultations, the role advances sales initiatives, strengthens broker engagement, and delivers measurable business results.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the intake, review, processing, and maintenance of new broker/agent/Blue plan contracts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for research and inquiries regarding existing contracts, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Assist in the development and consistent delivery of new broker reporting, including key metrics such as calendar days to first sale and the contribution of new brokers to the overall book of business.
  • Collaborate in the creation of comprehensive broker onboarding training materials, ensuring content is up-to-date, clear, and effective, while assisting in the delivery of training sessions.
  • Manage the pre-sales broker email and phone inquiry queue, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all inquiries.
  • Proactively communicate with newly registered brokers through various channels to welcome them to the program, providing tailored sales support to facilitate their first sale.
  • Conduct regular outreach to dormant brokers through various communication methods to reignite engagement and provide sales support to help them achieve sales goals.
  • Offer recommendations and assist in the implementation of procedural improvements and system enhancements aimed at optimizing broker operations, ensuring high-quality service, and meeting organizational objectives.
  • Support the integration of new tools and systems designed to improve broker efficiency, including providing training and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Promote and uphold the company’s service standards, ensuring the ongoing persistence and growth of the assigned book of business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, MGAs, Blue plans, and brokers, offering continued support to foster loyalty and maximize sales potential.
  • Ensure operational compliance and adherence to industry regulations, consistently advocating for best practices in broker implementation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to enhance broker success and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the broader sales and implementation efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or applicable work experience required.
  • Life & health insurance license preferred. If not active, will need to be obtained within 1 st 90 days of hire.
  • Strong Pre-Sales Product Support, Client Services and Escalation Management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required, including the ability to confidently monitor, analyze, and present trends, insights, and reporting to senior leadership while maintaining composure and credibility with executive-level audiences.
  • Must accomplish prioritization in Fast-Paced environment and be skilled in documentation & enablement (custom FAQs, job aids, guides with internal partners).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint , Edge).
  • Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high-speed internet access).
Working Conditions
  • Flexibility to work in an office and/or at-home, remote office environment.
  • Schedule flexibility is occasionally necessary in this position. Individual may be required to attend key business/departmental meetings and/or perform certain business critical job functions outside of normal working hours.
  • Must be able to communicate internally and externally through receiving and responding to auditory and visual methods.

Competitive base pay starting at $25.04/hr. Compensation is based on prior/relevant experience and skill level in a similar role.
