Vitruvian Health is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team in managing patient financial information under the supervision of the Scheduling and Pre Services supervisor. You will be responsible for contacting patients to gather essential demographic and financial data while ensuring first-class service.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in a healthcare billing office.

Under the direct supervision of the Scheduling and Pre Services supervisor, the patients are contacted to obtain necessary identifying, demographic and financial information. Seeks to help patients understand their financial responsibilities, giving the estimated out-of-pocket responsibilities and payment options; at all times providing first‑class service to set the tone for the patient’s journey of care as well as educate and manage the financial expectations for the patient prior to admission. Initiates the pre‑registration in the Soarian Financials system. Provides information to the patient regarding when and where to report to Hamilton Medical Center. Contacts physician offices for pre‑authorization information. Contacts payers to obtain pre‑authorization as needed.
Normal business office environment. Constant sitting and limited freedom of movement. Ability to work under conditions of frequent interruption. Poise, tact and courtesy are necessary when dealing with patients. Must be detail oriented. Must be able to assert initiative and judgment involved in classifying financial data and maintaining the normal flow of work.
