Job summary

In collaboration with the care team, you will administer medications, manage pain, provide wound care, educate patients and families, and participate in transfer coordination to support timely, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments of patients post-procedure, monitoring vital signs, level of consciousness, pain levels, and recovery progress.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and manage pain and sedation reversal as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and adjust individualized care plans and ensure timely interventions.
• Coordinate patient transfers and assist discharge planning to maintain continuity of care across units.
• Document assessments, interventions, and updates accurately in the medical record.
