Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact licensure accepted if active in FL within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS required/obtained within specified timelines.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in perioperative or OR nursing is implied by role

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification (briefing, time out, debriefing) and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies; deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve patient care and workflow.
• Document changes in patient condition and care provided; educate patients and families about treatment and follow-up
