Job summary

Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming seeks a Registered Nurse in the Perianesthesia department. You will prep patients for surgery, start IVs, verify consents, administer preop meds and assist with nerve blocks. Post-anesthesia care in phase 1 and 2 is included.

This role requires teamwork within a busy postoperative environment and on-call rotation. Eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus; 1+ year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care/hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care across perioperative phases.
• Prepare patients for surgery, start IVs, obtain consents, and administer preoperative medications.
• Care for patients in post-anesthesia recovery (Phase 1 and 2) and participate in on-call rotations.
• Document care and communicate status to the care team; ensure quality outcomes.
