Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre/Post Surgery at Bell Hospital. This part-time position covers days with some night/weekend shifts and may include shift premiums.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ADN required; must complete BSN by fifth anniversary if hired after Feb 24, 2017.
• 2+ years of clinical nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Follow unit competencies and plan of care for the patient population.
• Coordinate care delivery and education with patient, family and health care team.
• Adhere to organizational policies to ensure safe patient care.
• Perform duties as assigned; adapt to unit needs and shifts.
