Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager for Pre and Post Op to lead the surgical services team and ensure high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee Pre Op, PACU, PAT, and Endo, uphold nursing standards, collaborate with physicians and staff, and drive quality and patient safety initiatives. The role requires RN license, nursing degree, BSN preferred, and BLS; acute care experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and take responsibility for safe, quality patient care 24/7 in assigned departments.
• Ensure nursing practice standards, policies, and procedures meet legal and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain continuity of care via interdisciplinary team approaches.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff on patient progress and treatment.
• Develop and implement programs to improve nursing quality, safety and service excellence.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital services and departments.
